Our initial consulation and survey is FREE for Home Owners and Landlords. One of our Fully Certified Surveyors will visit your property to provide advice and offer a competitive quotation for any works required. Our Surveyors are fully PCA TRAINED and CSRT & CSSW CERTIFIED, making our reports valid for insurance claims and mortgage applications.

Pre-Purchase Surveys

If you are buying or selling a home, our PRE-PURCHASE DAMP & TIMBER REPORTS are affordable and expeditious. We send only QUALIFIED SURVEYORS, not salesmen, to give you an impartial review of any damp or timber defects in the property. We aim to accommodate you or your vendor at a time and day that suits: weekend, early or late appointments on request. We can turn around a survey in 24 hours if required - just ask our staff.

Rising Damp Treatment

We have specialist technicians who can install a new damp proof course or carry out other remedial works to eradicate your rising damp problems, and re-render or plaster your wall to make as good as new.

Dry and Wet Rot Treatments

When house timbers are exposed to moisture for an extended period, this can lead to rot which can make the timber structurally unsound. Damp Works can treat and/or replace affected timbers to eradicate the problem, and prevent future outbreaks.

Woodworm Treatment

Structural timbers can be attacked by wood boring beetles who feed and, over time, destroy internal wood. Damp Works' trained technicians use ecologically safe spray treatments to eradicate the problem and ensure that the insects will not return.

Condensation Consultation

A common cause of damp problems in residential buildings is condensation, which can lead to MOULD and fungus problems. There are many steps the homeowner can take to fix the problem; our qualified surveyors will give you advice and recommendations to improve ventilation and reduce moisture in your property and help eliminate mould. There is a small charge for this service, which is fully refundable should any works be required and carried out by us.

Basement or Cellar Waterproofing / Tanking

Damp Works can help you convert your basement or cellar. By installing a traditional cementious tanking system or using the latest in cavity drainage membrane technology, we can help create a dry usable living space.

Post Treatment Works, Re-decoration

We have a team of skilled builders and craftsmen; this means that you need not arrange builders, plumbers, plasters separately. We aim to provide a one stop shop from our initial survey to the re-plastering and decorating of the treated area.
