Richard was absolutely fantastic. He checked the water damaged area for damp and rot and reassured me there was no evidence of this. We looked for the source of the leak and he spent a good hour going around the property and making recommendations. Because he was so helpful in explaining everything and was a wealth of knowledge I showed him other areas of my home where damp is an issue and asking his advice. It was clear his recommendations of extractor fans etc were accurate and not based on trying to sell me things I didn't need. From this experience I highly recommend this company.

From first contact, Dampworks were helpful and courteous. The administrator made sure I had all the necessary information on which to make my decision on and was particularly helpful fitting a mutually convenient time to visit at relatively short notice. The service was carried out on time, everything was left clean and the technician explained how the system was working efficiently. He checked all the vents as well as the ventilator in the loft. The whole experience was positive and excellent value for money. I will happily use Dampworks again and recommend their service.

Jack was very helpful throughout and successfully completed mould sterilisation in bedrooms, then added thermal wall coating and finish plaster. Baffle vents were also installed as well as moisture tracking extraction units. In addition, work was completed to address rising damp in downstairs toilet, as well as several ad-hoc requests related to the rooms were work was taking place. Would definitely recommend, highly professional company and individuals to deal with from start to finish.

We had some issues with damp in our house and Dampworks identified the problems and partially renewed our damp proof course and installed extractor fans in our kitchen and bathroom. The work was carried out to an extremely high standard and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Robert came out and helped us sort a rising damp issue on an external wall as well as install a more appropriate bathroom extractor fan. All done with minimal ease of contact. He also came out a second time to look at potential falling damp but advised us to dry the wall out - he gave good advice here on where to position our dehumidifier and didn't try to push us to undertake unnecessary building work or anything like that. Lovely, punctual and professional service. Couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic communication, including on follow-on questions following the completion of the work. Gave me full confidence at all times that they know what they are doing and the advice they gave and work undertaken effectively addressed the issue as well as it could be. I'd use again to address any condensation/mould issues. Getting a paid survey from professionals will save you in the long run.. even more so that they incorporate that into the final bill.
